Non-scale victory of the week!

At a couple of functions and continue to stick to my plan ... left a Kiddush lunch on Saturday to eat at home because I knew there weren’t enough vegetables.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Got to yoga twice (yeah). Want to schedule time to get to the gym! Took a couple of longer walks with the dog.

Passing up foods with sugar and flour and not missing them. Lots of stress is actually making it hard to eat as my appetite has been effected and my stomach is upset. Feeling the feelings and not eating over them. Leaning in, learning and breathing.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Feels so good to be taking care of my nutritional needs during a stressful time at work. Went to a meeting where there was, theoretically, going to be something I could eat. There was protein but no vegetables. I was so glad that I had brought a back-up dinner.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Avoided the temptation of ice cream for my husband’s birthday and at a picnic. Avoided chocolate chip cookies at two receptions. Not feeling virtuous or triumphant, just neutral. Feeling happy about all the progress I’ve made and how much healthier I am.
