Non-scale victory of the week!

I was able to go to a protest and a parade, two events that would have required too much standing for me in years past.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I was pretty lazy about moving my body this week.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I can wear a purse on my shoulder, instead of having to wesr it cross-body! My shoulders have lost enough of their roundness to keep the strap in place.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I’ve been in an exercise drought, but I’m breaking out this week. Already made 2/4 workouts. I had sushi last night, and it was soooo good, but it kicked my weight up a bit.

Non-scale victory of the week!

It’s been one whole year of weight loss! So much has changed. I feel so different about myself, my body, and what I can achieve. It’s a wonderful place to be.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Hustled all over the Oregon State Capitol for legislative session this week, with almost no huffing and puffing. Such a different experience from when I started in February 2015, at around 385 lbs.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I ate well this werk, got my steps in, but I still gained weight. I think it is a combination of building muscle back up after being sick all last week, and being a week away from my period. Alas!

Non-scale victory of the week!

I had a nasty cold this week. Which meant that I ate very light, but got little exercise. I stayed hydrated, though, and took care of my body, and I’m on the mend. NSV: realizing that I am more flexible with all the weight in my legs gone—it was making it hard to bend.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Not gotten sick! ;) I think I did well with what I had.
