Non-scale victory of the week!

So I made it to the end and within a few pounds of my lowest weight! I’m very happy with myself and ready for a new challenge !!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

It was a good week. There’s always something that can be better, but I’m not going to nitpick.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I had a great week, but actually the last few weeks have been great. Plus, I’m now exercising regular.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

The one thing I’m struggling with is drinking enough water. I’ve been having gout attacks and I really want to flush my system of uric acid, but it’s a struggle .

Non-scale victory of the week!

So the thing I noticed this week is that I am getting smaller. I actually have a lap now, sufficient to use my laptop.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I was really good with my food, but clearly I have hit a plateau. I’m having a gout flare up and am retaining more fluid.

I don’t know. I have to get this gout under control in order to move about much. I’m going to stay the course with food.

Non-scale victory of the week!

It might sound strange, but “only” losing 2# this week was a good thing and didn’t upset me. I knew it would would slow down or plateau soon! 32# total in 6.5 weeks is crazy fast for me! I’m so happy with the loss! Clothes are looser. I have more “lap” when sitting.

I have been more active this week, but need to keep pushing myself.

Still doing well! lm not giving in to temptations, but I will say I’ve been hungrier this week. Actually got some work done around the house too!

I’m really pleased that I’ve lost almost 20#! Because I’ve done so well with my current diet I’m going to stick with the same plan. I’ll probably stay with this until I hit a plateau, and then I’ll switch things up. It’s supposed to be super cold this week so I’ll plan to use my Exercycle at least 3 days this week.

Meal planning and prep has really saved me from grabbing at the wrong foods and destroying my ketosis.

More exercise! I didn’t actually exercise except for working up a sweat with housework .

I definitely need to get in gear with exercise. As I lose weight I think I will make progress I think, as the weight comes off.

Long-term goal weight

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

For me to lose weight I have to be very strict - weighing and measuring all food and drink. This is the reason DietBet works for me is because the game really keeps my attention on the important things in order to lose weight .

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

I want to kickstart my diet with keto for a few weeks, then I should be in the groove and be able to manage a more normal weight loss diet after that. I’m going to build up exercise gradually by walking (with my walker) and try to do a little more each day. I will also use my recumbent exercise bike and build that up too. I hope to get 8 hours of sleep at night.
