So, I gave up trying to post blogs from the app. 

I tried to post in the activity section to "friends only" and realised that wasn't happening either. I want to record daily visual food diaries and exercise, but I don't want to clog the entire newsfeed and have players going "oh no, not her AGAIN!", so, I'll write and post a blog from Safari. :) Sorted! 

So, day 1 for me came on a Saturday. The morning, food-wise started well. I had a HUGE Breakky with lots of greens from my garden, then a healthy snack and then a huge bowl of granola and berries for a late lunch. We then headed out for a family evening. Here I done okay, but i neglected to prepare any meals. I enjoyed a lovely slice of pecan, date and banana bread a friend had brought along (probably not too unhealthy knowing this friend), but dinner... dinner was drive-through courtesy of McDonalds. A chicken club burger. I didn't add anything else, no fries and I don't like soft drink anyway, but I did eat the burger. 

I have an AWFUL habit of waking through the night craving salt and consuming anything I come in contact with. Eat like a sparrow all day, and a...well, pig at night. I knew if I skipped dinner altogether I'd wake and eat, and eat, and eat. I was starving, and tired. Lesson learnt, I should have prepped! 

Exercise way...yeah, nothing exciting there. I did exceed 10k steps, -'s each time my device (Garmin Vivosmart HR) altered me that I'd reached a goal, I'd do 10 squats...but yeah, that's almost as far as I got. Nonetheless, it's better than nothing and something to improve upon tomorrow.
