Today marks my 11th day without soda - only almond milk and water for this gal... with the exception of two days in which I consumed some very delicious wine.  Two out of eleven days is amazing for me.  I feel like I should have at least one glass every night.  Baby steps.

This leads me to the question... why do I feel so #$%$#^ thirsty all of the time?!

I have been tracking my daily food intake and my sodium levels are moderate.  MyFitnessPal has sodium intake set at 2300mg a day.  I've gone over that amount twice, but not by much.  The math nerd in me tallied up those numbers and I'm averaging 1800mg a day.  Every single day, I wake up so thirsty and water never seems to satiate that thirst.

More about me:

I have been drinking a little more than half my body weight in water (ounces, of course) regularly and working out 4-5 times a week. I have cardio days and I have bootcamp and weight lifting days. I'm currently about 136lbs and I consume anywhere from 9-11 8 ounce glasses of water a day.

I have been eating lean protein, averaging right around 60g a day.

I have been keeping my bread consumption in check.  (I love a good, fresh piece of bread. I have avoided bagels.)

I am taking pre-natal vitamins.

Does anyone else have this issue - or has experienced this?
