Our region recently had a snow storm, followed by rain, which in turn was followed by a deep freeze. This resulted in icy sidewalks and roads, where many people have been injured by slipping on the ice while walking.

I now can add myself to the list of those who have fallen, after wiping out last night. Thankfully, I landed on a large muscle, which cushioned most of the blow when I landed, but with a slip, the whole body gets contorted so it's actually my shoulder that's aching this morning.

I am scheduled to restart my weight training for 2015 tonight but I will have to work around my right arm for the time being because the ice slip. However, it's not a total loss. I can weight train the rest of my body tonight and skip my sore arm for the time being.

So if you are injured like I am, but still have lots of mobility, and better yet, the drive and passion to continue, here's a link that gives advice about how to work out while injured:
