Here I go...I have to be accountable to someone to help me loose this weight. I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in January 2014 at 48. I know I did it to myself as I am seriously addicted to sugar. I am a candy and sweet(holic) I could eat spoonfuls of sugar at a time. I have eaten candy my entire life. I am talking about sprees, sweettarts, cotton candy, lemon drops, etc. I am not big into chocolate though. My diabetes is semi under control with 2 types of medicines but I just can't seem to eat like I should or get the weight off. I was always very skinny as a child but after having children and a hysterectomy at 36 my weight has gone up from 130 to 195 at my heaviest. I lost down to 175 last year but have since gone back up to 187.6 as of today. I walk several times a day especially on the weekends with my dog. He is always pulling me, so the faster I walk, the faster he walks. We walk at least twice a day up to 30 minutes. I guess my main problem is boredom eating and not getting my 5 - 6 small meals in during the day. I wake up and am not hungry so I don't eat until 9ish, then I eat a late lunch around 2 and when I get home I am not hungry so I don't feel like cooking and the easiest thing for me to eat is a bowl of sweetened cereal. I know I can loose the weight but I need help and lots of it. I have access to a gym at my apartment but I don't go because it is no fun working out alone. I am hoping through DietBet that I can at least "JUMPSTART" my way into loosing the weight that I need to be healthy.
