As of yesterday I have lost 2.7 pounds. I know that might not be a lot to some people, but for me, it is a huge step. Having diabetes and trying to find the balance of eating healthier and eating 3 meals plus 2 snacks is very hard. Some days I have no appetite and eating makes me sick to my stomach. I didn't get as much walking in this weekend as I would have liked because of Fibromyalgia and diabetic neuropathy. I keep telling myself, I can beat this, I can beat this! As I do believe that with a healthy weight, keeping up with walking and lifting weights (not to bulk up but to help my bones) I can overcome the pain.
