Asian Meatballs
Recipe:
3 pounds lean ground turkey (I used 2 packages of Foster Farms a pound and a half each)
1 or 2 Green onion sliced thinly
1 small onion or half a large onion - grated or finely diced in a food processor
1/3 Cup reduced sodium soy sauce – if you want it saltier use regular soy – I did a 50/50 blend
2 Tbls dried ginger (or to taste)
1 1/2 tsp Chinese 5 spice
1 1/2 tsp McCormick’s Perfect Pinch Asian seasoning
1 tsp ground black pepper
What you’ll do
Combine ingredients in large mixing bowl. Mix until combined.
Divide mixture into 36 meatballs about the size of a golf ball or ping pong ball
Bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 30 minutes at 375 (depending on your
oven), or until meatballs are golden brown.
Serve with brown rice, quinoa, or stir fried veggies! Yum!
21 Day Fix Counts for this recipe: 1 Red container holds 4 meatballs at about 4.5oz
