Well - our daughter Jess persuaded me to start the dietbet challenge so I signed up at the end of January. Let's see if I can keep a blog.  I've decided to be brutally honest about what I eat so you can see how well you are doing in comparison to me - I'm incorrigible!  Totally new to this so I expect to make loads of mistakes.  How have I done so far?  Well, the start of the bet was spent in Edinburgh for Mrs A's 50th Birthday celebrations - 1 night at the award winning Witchery hotel and restaurant!  Not a good start dietwise but wonderful food!  Back now to earth with a bump.  Day one for me was

Tuesday 2nd Feb 2016:

Exercise: Had a walk with Mrs A round the park, not for long but enough to get the circulation going.
What I ate:  
Breakfast: 2 x sausages & 2 eggs (scrambled), orange juice.
Dinner: Dough balls and pizza at Pizza Express, mineral water
Tea: nothing - still full up from dinner.
Supper:  Bowl of cornflakes then Mrs A led me astray! She opened the pate iin the fridge and I had 4 x hovis digestives with butter & pate (I was starving though). Bad end to the day.

BAck to work - UUGGHH!

Exercise : none really.  Short walk from car park to work and same walk at lunchtime - ate dinner in car to escape the stress of the office!

Breakfast: Bowl of cornflakes.
Dinner: Spam, chesse & lettuce sandwich.  Bag of low fat crisps.  Piece of home ade flapjack for pudding.
Afternoon snack: Mug of chocomilk from the vending machine.
Tea:  Got in and nibbled a few coarted nuts (bad).  Little piece of battered fish that my eldest daughter had left.  Had low fat turkey chilli with rice and a sprinkling of cheddar cheese. Piece of flapjack for pudding.
