Really Trying to "Recover"

Hi there, congrats on analyzing and staying on top of the issue! While I realize that counting calories is NOT the way to go, do you think there is a way for you to stay above 1200 calories per day (more when you are working out)? Maybe several small meals would feel less challenging? If you go lower than 1200, your body will go into starvation mode and refuse to lose more weight. It would be a shame, if you sabotaged your own hard work that way. I'm sure you know this... but I guess it is really hard to put it into practice. What is you strategy? Good luck, anyway, sounds like you are in the process of figuring this out!

Hi, so I am trying to stay above 1200 calories, especially when working out. I have been getting pretty good at this. I'm currently just trying to fill up on as much fruits and veggies as possible and just trying to eat cleaner. I also try not to beat myself up if I have more than 1200 calories because I know that it's okay. Thanks!!

I think this is the perfect strategy. If you eat clean food, there is no reason to feel guilty about it from a nutrition perspective, should make it easier on you.
