Doing the math - The Transformer - Jan 1

$151.85 was my profit from my transformer I was in that just ended. I did the up front bet, so paid only for 5 months, and I did not win round 5. Round 1 had the lowest payout at $15.59. After round 1 the payouts each month were within about $5 of $30. Not bad considering that was based on a pot that was $12.50 bets (cause remember, only half goes into the pot for the month for the first 5 rounds.)There's definitely some miscalculations in your math, but ultimately the most important thing is you just can't predict accurately how many players will still be playing by the end of the game. Many people drop out before round 6, but half of every months bet goes into that round 6 pot. So those players that drop out, still have left behind money in that pot. Before my round 6 ended, I figured out that even if everyone in round 6 won, after dietbet took their fee, each person would get a payout of $146 for round 6. We started with 174 winners (so more players than that but I can't find a record of how many were playing round one) and by round 6 we had 89 players and 78 of those won round 6.So a transformer really is a long game- you NEED to make it all the wa yto round 6 and win round 6 to make a solid profit. But you are right it's NOT a get rich quick scheme at all. It's a nice investment in yourself, and over time pays out more than most other investments you can make, though :)
