Is it me or is it (typically) a lot easier for men to lose weight than women? For instance, I've been trying so hard to be more active and to watch what i eat and make better (hard) decisions, and it's paying off, which is great. But then there's my (male) roommate who has just been walking more and that's about it... and we've lost about the same amount of weight. I mean, I'm happy for him, too, but it's a little annoying. LOL.

My mom told me she had the same frustration with my brother once. Where he said "I think I want to lose 10 pounds" and it just dropped off him, whereas she struggled along. And my roommate said other girls complained to him about the same thing before.

So... is it a coincidence or real thing?
