Yes, hormones are affected by the moon cycle. Yes lunacy does exist, well, that's just a guess based on enough circumstantial evidence for a phenomenon to make it into the dictionary.Whilst I've not heard about it being harder or easier to lose weight under a because of the moon before, the darn thing is a third of the size of earth....though waxing \ waning, surely that's just perspectives and shadows....so....meh...Personally it's going to be one of those many things that won't make any difference to any of us.... yes numbers on the scales are awesome, but don't we only use those on the journey to body happiness and health?

Why not Moon influences hormones, these influence the metabolism... ?But that was not my point. About „just perspectives and shadows”: Beneath them there is also gravitation/gravity and who knows what other fields from both Moon and Sun. By new moon influences from both come from the same direction. But by full moon Sun is right and Moon is left – so are their influences too. (...I could hear : ) the water in me: Sun is pulling me right and Moon to the left, whereto should I go? I’d better stay here : ) )If Moon affects the water in the oceans (tides), it MIGHT somehow influence the water in our bodies too. That was my question about. Here on db it’s the perfect place for such a statistics. I, for one, weighed definitely less then expected today in the morning, but that could be just a coincidence!
