The thing I hate most about diet, nutrition, and exercise is that after all the reading, and research i've done, to learn what it's all about, I still can't figure out how to "flip the switch" and get it done. It is sad when you feel that you know how to do it, but you still can't get it done. Giving motivation to someone is a whole lot easier than recieving it.

I feel your pain. I am teaching Health to 6th and 7th graders. Yet, I am in B.M.I. terms obese, I prefer to think of myself as overweight, a small argument. I am letting the kids be part of my motivation. I want to be a better role model for them as well. Maybe that will help a little.?
You are fighting yourself. It sucks to start, but once you start it is amazing. Remember the amazing feeling "AFTER" you have finished the workout and all of the energy you have. I see on your page you have already lost .6 lbs. YOU ARE DOING IT!!! Keep it up and keep going. You have already started, just keep going. :) Find your motivation and keep it! For me it is the dietbet. I have been on roller coaster diets and exercise routines for the last 10 years, but this is the first time I have actually kept at if for more than two weeks. Something will get you going, you just have to find it. You have people cheering for you!!!
