My schedule is going to be doing backflips and contortions over the next few weeks.
A regular Friday night thing got moved to a regular Saturday night thing.
My last day at my current job is tomorrow.
I'm going to see family out of state later this week. I've got an appointment to get my car looked at before the long drive.
Then my new job starts next Monday. It's a longer commute than my current job, so the timing in the mornings and evenings will be a bit different.
Ugh.
I'm a fan of consistency. I know life is boring that way, but it's easy to keep on track and I'm not going to get any of it for while.
Adaptation and flexibility are so crucial to making lasting change though. I'm trying to keep my eye on the goal while all of these changes blow in.
I've already started making adjustments for the earlier wake up time and commute, getting up earlier and once exercising in the a.m. darkness. I'm scheming ways to keep my exercise up and my calorie count down while with family.
Weight loss seems to be as much about planning and flexibility as it is about diligence and willpower.
