Just wanted to share with others a "meal plan" that has worked for me, and it's very simple.

 

- 5 meals a day

- 2 to 4 hours apart

- at every meal eat:

     - fist sized carb

     - palm sized protein

     - thumb sized healthy fat

- at least two meals, two fist of veggies

 

This keeps your options open but helps to keep the body "feed" with energy.  However, I'll admit for the first week or so you get VERY hungery....so I have a tip!

- celery and cucumber is FREE!!!

- if absolutely necessary, a 100 calories max (per day) snack

 

Of course, exercise is key to being fit but with this meal plan alone (and 20+ minutes of exercise per day) I've lost a total of 50 lbs over three years.
