My first Diet Bet ended today and I didn't make my goal.  I didn't take the commitment seriously enough and when I had strong cravings and temptations I gave in.  I need better planning techniques, better distraction techniques (leaving the room, going for a walk) and just in general keep my eye on the prize.  I need to go to bed on time so I am rested, I need to blog honestly, and I need to renew my focus and commitment every day.  When I am faced with temptation this is where the going gets tough but the tough get going!  I know what my weaknesses are- losing weight doesn't just happen magically!  I cheated too much, and that is just lame.  I joined a new 28 day Diet Bet today and I am very happy about this.  I really love being a part of this site.   I need to eat smaller portions.  I also need to journal my food and keep track of calories, neither of which I was doing.  I also need to weigh in more regularly.  I do exercise quite a bit, thank goodness for that.  Thanks everyone for the blogs, I really enjoy reading them.
