The Fitness Challenge my coworkers and I started is working great.  We've been doing it since the beginning of August.  In August I missed my workout day twice throughout the month, and in September I missed it once.  I went all through October without missing a single workout.  :-)  I'm so ecstatic.  I've been working out 4 days a week since we started.  I don't think I've ever kept anything up this long.  The funny part about it is so much of a routine now that I don't even think about it.  I just know it's a workout day and there are no excuses for not being able to get it in throughout the day.  I never thought I would be one of those people that enjoyed exercise!  LOL!  

Now if only I could get my calorie burn upped.  Part of the challenge for this month is we have to burn 500 calories during your workout.  It's aggravating that my average time is about an hour and 10 minutes when most of the guys in the group can burn it in literally half the time.  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.  I have a low resting heart of mid to low 50's bpm.  I think the highest my heart rate has gotten during a workout is 160 bpm.  I'm sweating my butt off and my breathing is labored during, so I know it's doing something for me.  LOL!  I would just love it if I could get it over and done faster so I can do something else like catch up on my netflix shows.  ;-)
