As long as one bad day doesn't turn into two, doesn't turn into three...I think forgiveness is key. Don't be too hard on yourself. Forgive yourself for the mistakes that you know you made, pick up and carry on to do your best, one day or even one hour at a time. 6 months is a good long stretch to slowly make the changes that will stick.
