I'm so so so excited about this challenge!  I'd heard of dietbet before but could never bring myself to go for it.  On November 5th I committed myself (again!) to trying to eat healthy, drinking more water, giving up soda and TRACKING what I eat.

I wish I could pinpoint exactly what has been different this time, as opposed to the THOUSANDS of times I've "committed myself" in the past.  Whatever it is, this is the LONGEST I have consistently tracked food and committed to eating healthy!  My starting weight on 11/5/14 was 313; sadly not even the most I've weighed in my life, but enough to make me groan and want to kick the scale!  I am beyond ecstatic to report that as of 11/21 my weight was 301!!!  I've never had that kind of weight loss in such a short period of time and it's done WONDERS for my confidence in myself and my motivation to keep going!  I generally weigh in on Wednesdays and when I started the #sElfChallenge I weighed in on Sunday.  I'm still trying to decide if I'll keep weighing in on both Sunday and Wednesday.  The only reason being that on Wednesdays I weigh in at work and on Sunday I weighed in at home on my brand new digital scale.  I think I'll probably still do that just to keep the consistency going for both, since I use my "Wednesday weight" to track on My Fitness Pal :)

Monday I am beginning a consistent exercise program, which will be a first for me!  My company has a gym onsite that evidently no ever uses and because I get off at 3:30pm every day, I'm going to start bringing workout clothes and workout before I head home.  My goal is to start slow, 20 minutes per day and work up to 1 hour every day.

I really, really, really want to become a runner!  I've always been heavy and therefore always been afraid to try.  My goal is to be able to run at least a 5k in spring.  There's a race in my hometown in July and I WILL be RUNNING in that.  For now, I'm starting in the gym at work.

Anyways, I'm VERY happy to be here doing this challenge and so happy I found dietbet and The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans!
