Hello everyone,

I'm sorry for not posting yesterday, I sort of forgot as it was quite late at night before i went to bed.

So Saturday started off a little bad, I didnt sleep well friday night, and I rode saturday morning. I wasnt looking forward to the ride since I was tired. The ride itself was okay, but the lack of energy took its toll on me near the end of the ride. Came home pretty tired, and stayed tired for the rest of the day. But thats okay becasue i didnt do anything else that day except for study and watch movies. Went to bed around 11... and slept like a baby!

This morning was great because i felt much more energized that saturday, so i was pretty motivated for my long ride today. Beautidul day out today, mid 50's. I saw a couple of Top Pro cyclists riding around. Theyre like 2-3 levels above me, and the difference in strenght is HUGE! So they are my motivation. And It was motivating to say hi to them and even pass them on the road!

Got back from my ride super tired!!! Like I had no energy at all. I love the feeling when i consume some carbohydrates, Its almost as if i can feel them being transported to my legs, and all of a sudden my energy is boosted. Like within 10 minutes of drinking my recovery smoothie, my energy goes from 0 to like 50, which is pretty noticable. This only happens on longer and harder rides like today.

Ate A LOT OF FOOD TODAY! But being a cyclist who burns sometimes more calories than he can eat in a day, I am still way under my minimum intake, and I stuffed myself all day.. with paleo foods though! By sticking to strict paleo on a day like today makes me really happy because I know I can continue with this diet, I enjoy the foods I eat. I havent had any bad foods all week, gotta keep it up!

I've also lost 3 pounds since monday! Im happy with this weight lost but im not thinking its body fat, its probably water weight. To loose 3 pounds in a week for me would not be good because it leads to lack of energy and less power when riding, but thats only if i lost 3lbs of body fat and muscle. Im thinking its water weight because I had a ton of carbs last sunday, so all that extra water was burned off.
