This morning I woke up feeling a lot better. I thought I'd be 100% today but actually still feel this annoying cold is still clinging to me. It's almost gone though! Hubby woke me up around 5:50 am and I told myself I'd go out to take a short run around 6:40...well, I fell back asleep until 7:00am. I almost didn't go out but decided I felt ok enough to atleast walk a bit.

I got up, got dressed and slowly went out. Jogged the first 10 minutes but felt some aches in my joints again. My throat got scratchy too. I decided to slow it down and head back home. It's really important to listen to your body, especially when sick

Take a read if you'd like with the link above. To sum it up:

Flu/fever: DON'T exercise. Take it easy until your temperature comes down

Too tired to exercise from no sleep: Recommended TOO exercise, will boost your energy
level for the day with feel good endorphins and also
help relax your body to sleep better the next night.

Sore muscles: DO a light workout such as walking, biking or swimming. It will help relax
your muscles and stretch them out. Listen to your body, if too sore you
should take a rest day.

Concussion: DON'T exercise even if you feel ok. Listen to your doctor and give time for
your brain to heal.

Pregnant: Modified exercises only, light exercises such as walking and light swimming.
Some running is ok in the beginning but nothing too advanced.

Cold: If you have a cold, light exercise is ok but listen to your body.

I did my best this morning. I ended up taking a different route to shorten my run. I went to a walk too by the end of it. I just was not feeling good. I managed an hour which was my goal but I don't know if it was worth it or not. I didn't get that endorphin rush I usually do and just feel bleh now.

One cool thing was that while I was running I ran into DUCK CITY!!

LOL!!

so many ducks!

The crazy thing that kind of scared me was they started walking toward me!

They were looking for food, I got nervous that they would attack me or something. haha
They were nice though and just came up to my feet and stared at me.

Sorry ducks, maybe next time I'll bring crackers or something :D

Busy day today, a lot of work I need to catch up on so until tomorrow everyone!
Hope everyone is having a strong week!
