Day 4 of 28
So far I have lost 5 pounds on this juicing plan (Monday). 8 pounds since I started watching what I ate again (Saturday).
Happy to report no headache yesterday. I feel fine today. No headache and I don't feel hungry. Not really craving junkfood, just missing it. I want a hamburger, pizza, Chinese, or just a homecooked meal.
Today a co-worker offered me some pizza I told him no I can't, then revised it to I can have pizza but I choose not to eat it :)
I remind myself why I'm doing this. Yes, for the weight loss, but more for the health benefits. Years ago I had gallstones and last week I had a possible kidney stone. Both are very painful and I do not want to go through that again. I needed surgery for the gallstones, luckily the kidney stone passed on its own very quickly. My cholesterol is also slighlty elevated. I do not want to start taking medications for cholestorol or anything else that is caused by diet.
I'm about half way through week 1 and my family and co-workers are very supportive. Even more is the community online through Jason Vale's Biggest Detox. Over 50,000 people from over 100 countries are joining in doing different programs. Watching those videos and interacting with people who are going through the same think is very helpful to me when I want to slip up.
The community at Dietbet is also helping. I am doing 3 4% Dietbets and 2 Transformers.
I'm almost done with day 4, moving on to day 5 :)
