I've done very well at sticking with my plan this diet bet and have increased my exercise, but the fat refuses to leave.  NORMALLY this would have ment a giant pitty party and I would have invited/ingested all of my favorite "junk food" (because we all know that a giant binge on junk will solve the problem - NOT!).

BUT I HAVE DECIDED I NEED A NEW "NORMAL".

I know that there are many possible explanations for the weight not falling off as quickely as I would like.  I also know that I could wake up tomorrow and be at my goal.  I find this increadibly fustrating because I cannot just make my body cooperate.  I considered tossing my plan out the window and looking for the latest diet plan - but I've been down that path before and I don't think it is the answer.

INSTEAD, today I decided to make a minor modification to my plan for the weekened to see if I can get the scale moving in the correct direction.  For this weekend I will be feasting on my "garden vegetable chicken soup" (I just made that up!)  I used homemade (Defatted) chicken broth, chicken breast meat and a large variety of veggies from my garden (chard, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes, onions, peppers, green beans, snow peas, garlic and zucchini) I also tossed in a few lentils for increased protein/fiber and bulk.  I avoided adding anything with sodium but did add curry, cumen, cyanne, lemon pepper, dried celery flakes, basil and itailian seasoning.  The soup is delicious and I plan on having it for lunch and dinner today and tomorrow with my regular breakfast.  Still drinking tons of water, warm lemon water in the morning, and oolong and herbal teas (plain).  I don't know if this will work, but it is better than what I used to do and if it does not work in time to win this bet, there is always the next one!
