I have been living in (or is it hiding in) my "fat jeans": i.e. my biggest most comfortable baggiest jeans which make me feel "ok" even when the lbs are creeping back on just because they FIT! I tend to gain around the middle and, yikes, my "fat jeans" are now too worn out to wear on the street (holes between legs from fat rubbing together and also from wearing practically daily). I have been a freelance worker for 7 years now and, therefore, can wear "fat jeans" all day long!

So, I have woken up and faced reality! I have two choices: get my rear in gear and return to a healthy weight or; 2) buy yet BIGGER size jeans! I REFUSE to do the latter. My fat jeans are a size 12 when I feel good at size 10 and great at size 8, so I WON'T DO THAT! I am medium-framed but am a SMALL person at 5'3'' so definitely am NOT going to let a size 14 become my "new normal"!

So, what's the plan? Every morning I will put on my tight (like I can barely zip them up...yikes!) size ten jeans (well I have 5-6 pairs of size 10 jeans but they are ALL TIGHT) and think about why I want to lose weight (health, self image, etc.) and try to take it day by day and DO BETTER. I am not perfect. I will have cheat days and ups and downs but I am aiming to exercise several times a week and make healthy choices most of the time and get that scale moving down!

Thanks to all my DB friends for encouragement during my ups and downs!
