Since April 2014 I have successfully completed 23 Kickstarters, 5 Transformers, and 1 Maintainer. (I also lost 3 Kickstarters). I may never be good at maintaining a steady weight, but 4 week DietBets help me get back to goal regularly.

I had a good day yesterday... ran a full 3.1 miles (5K) for the first time since I quit exercising in March... it felt good! Scale is saying good things to me this morning... I really want to start out very strong this first month of the 6 month challenge. My final goal is the lowest weight I've been since my 20's... I know getting there is going to be really hard! I feel like the only way I'm going to make it, is if I get within 5 pounds of my final goal in the first two months... that last 5 is always nearly impossible to lose! Good luck to all the participants!!!

Just finished an early morning 3.1mi/5K run. I really didn't want to do it... I biked yesterday and ran the day before, so I was dealing with sore muscles. But I've worked so hard since I joined the transformer last Sunday... and I got on the scale this morning to see I've lost more than 4 pounds! I've had one of the best weeks for diet and exercise since last fall... and there's nothing like diet success to motivate you to exercise and eat right... so instead of going back to bed or having a bowl of cereal in front of the TV, I went for a run. Now I'm ready for another good day!
