So why am I three days behind? Well writing the blog on the weekend is a bit difficult because I don't have a comupter at home {I broke it :'( } and writing it on my ipad sucks so I just figured I'd update you guys on Monday. Soooo I had a GREAT weekend this week! Alcholic drinks that I consumed were under 4 glasses!!! Ok so let me start from the beginning lol I'm getting ahead of myself.

Friday was great the kids behaved much better (yay for more mature 3rd and 4th graders!) and of course the fact that it was friday automatically put me in a good mood. I ate breakfast, lunch was okay I was happy! I had apples and peanut butter for snack (why are you so damn good?!) Went for my 5K run, drank my protein shake. Life was good!

Later on that night we had a going away party for one of my co-workers. Now I will have you know it was 1) All you can drink. 2) Pretty much all you can eat as well. I was seriously concerned for my willpower. But it turns out that I did pretty damn well! I should be thankful that Japanese people enjoy eating healthy fresh foods. That night we were having hot pot. Everyone is basically surrounding this one pot that has broth, a ton of veggies, and chicken. So that's what we ate. I ordered a wine decanter of .5 Liters, which I did not finish. So of course I went over but it was nothing compared to last weekend. I had a good time and made it a point to drink a glass or two of water in between every glass of wine.

Saturday I woke up at 11 AM. Thank God for weekends! I got up cleaned the kitchen for TWO hours, had my yummy quinoa cereal for breakfast and went shopping!! I got this awesome rain jacket for running at Uniqlo. It put me back 40 bucks but it was so cuteeeee. I also bought myself a new pair of running shoes!!!!!!!! I really needed a new pair, my knees and ankles were not having anymore of my old running shoes. So I bought the Mizuno Wave Rider 18 in bright red!!! They are beautifullllllllll.Mizuno Wave Rider 18

So of course I had to take them out!! That night I was scheduled an 8km run so it was perfect. I cannot stress how much having the right kind of running shoes can make your running experience that much better. It was amazing!!! I had a great run.

Sunday was great as well. It was meal prep day!!! I typically spend 3-4 hours prepping for the week but honestly if you put on some good music it goes by so quickly!! I made my own marinara sauce among other things. Then because I was home all day I only had 1500 steps out of the 10K im supposed to do so I went out for a long walk. It was about 1.5 hours long but I had a great time because I was jamming the whole way! All in all I had a great weekend and I will cherish it because I know that they won't always be this way.
