Motivation Deprivation?

Hi Adriane, I get that way before my workouts as well! Isn't it funny that even though as soon as my butt touches my car seat after a good gym session I feel SO motivated for the day, I'm up-beat and ready to kick butt.... The next day I'm still dragging myself there, finding it a struggle to just lift my finger and press play?! I think we all get that was as well, and it's a hard rut to get out of isn't it? What I find that helps is something I figure most would laugh at... I LOVE Hershey's chocolate; and IF and only IF I go to the gym ( and do good) I get to eat one of those mini ( the one square mini's) when I get back. Helps teach self rewarding as well as self control to not dip into them! Best of luck to you! -Nadine

Hi Nadine, I was listening to Shaun T's podcast the other day and he hit upon this in I think the 2nd or 3rd episode. You think you're not going to be able to do another session, but somehow you end up coming back for more. For me, as long as I press play, I know I'll do fine. I whine sometimes, but my inner self always seems to win that struggle and press play. At that point, I would just feel awful if I stopped the program, so I might as well do it! Thanks for commenting! -Adriane
