The point is to keep moving, no matter what. You know where you are going and there's really no other option. No matter what happened yesterday, get right back on the wagon and keep moving! Never look back, that's how I used to sabotage myself too. I found it very helpful to set long-term goals and break them down into daily/weekly/monthly goals. The only thing that keeps me going. I picked miles. I know how hard I worked to add them up, so once I start slacking off, I really don't want to mess up all my hard work. So eventually I will find a way to work out (despite injuries and time constraints) just to avoid messing up my numbers.I have been doing that for a couple of years, so I can even compete against last year's numbers now. Gives me a nice frame of reference. Try it, it makes such a big difference! Write your miles or workout minutes down, make a nice Excel spreadsheet with colorful graphs, whatever works for you, have fun with it and be proud of yourself!
