Day 19

It's Friday! Finally! Today I had an excellent day at work. The kids were super good and teaching class was a breeze. I really enjoy days like this. Today my friend came over for dinner after my run (another 5K in booyah!) and I realized that as soon as I think that my dinner plans will be different from what I planned I just let my cravings take over!!!! For example I already had my dinner planned for tonight but because my friend was coming over and she wanted dinner I was like damn I'll have to do something else. So I opted for chicken salad. Not bad right?! But my friend insisted on having bread as well. Now she knows that I am trying to lose weight but I don't think she knows how hard it is for me to not eat bread when I see it. At first I told myself I won't have any. Then she's like yeah right you say that now. And she was right! I mean how could I not? They had butter on them too!

Like I didn't feel bad for eating it but, I know how I get when I just say fuck it all and I will eat whatever I want because I deviated already so who cares. I want to learn to control that side of me. I want a little to be enough.

Day 20

Again, the same thing today, once I know I'm going to break off from my plans my calorie goal for the day doesn't matter to me anymore. The reason why I am doing all of this is to form healthy habits. I know that I am not going to be counting calories for the rest of my life. But I want to be able to make healthy choices, know when I am full and know when I am hungry.

Today started off well enough. I had breakfast and talked to my parents on Skype.

Went to my friends house for green curry. Loved the naan so much that I had to eat another one. The curry was also really good. I didn't know the calorie count but I didn't care and had like two bowls. Last but not least she just got a package from her mother who sent her GIRL SCOUT COOKIES. THIN MINTS. So of course I ate a lot. And you know what I don't feel bad about it!!!!! Those things are so damn good nobody can resist them. NOBODY.

By the time I left my friend's house it was 9PM and I had a 8km scheduled run that I still hadn't done. But because I had two cups of coffee I was more than ready to go do it. Rain and all. That's right ladies and gentlemen. It was POURING outside and I ran for an hour like a BOSS. I was super proud of that. I came back home, changed, took a shower and proceed to go to sleep. Like a BOSS.

Day 21

SUNDAY! Woke up around 10. Made breakfast and had a cup of espresso with milk. Yum. Went food shopping for the day. It took my about 2.5 hours because I like to check two supermarkets for the cheapest price and it helps me to get my steps in.

Then I spent about 4 hours prepping for the week and I was exhausted!!! But I only had 5000 steps in. So I was like what the heck. I'll clean my room! I had been putting it off for a while and my room really needed it. But then I only managed to get in 1500 more with all that cleaning I was still short! And I was exhausted and it was already 10 pm.

I had this really bad craving for chocolate cake. I figured I would walk to the 7/11 to get it. I still had 350 calories left in my calorie bank (lol) and the slice of cake was only 233 so I figured it was a darn good deal. So I did that and ended up with 8000 steps and with that I decided I was done for the day.

I'm human. I won't always get everything done. But it was my rest day. And I was super productive too so I wasn't worrying about it too much. But this is it! The last week before we weigh out for the first round!!! Gotta give it my all!
