Ok yesterday was not a good day for me however today has been great so far. I wasn't hungry this morning so I just had black coffee and a bottled water for breakfast and at snake time I ate a salad with no dressing which I found out yesterday I like my salad without dressing. Who knew. LOL. I did my 20 minutes on the stationary bike and some upper body 5 lb Dumbbells workout for almost 12 minutes.  I had 3oz of baked salmon with spinach beets and carrots I skipped the brown rice for this meal as I am planning on having brown rice and black beans for dinner with spinach and mixed veggies.

I did get a call from the Doctors office about my lab results which I have come to know the call from the dr.'s office is never good news when it concerns lab results. So I braced my self for what ever the news could be they said the lab showed my triglyceride levels were down but my cholesterol levels were up except my good cholesterol level dropped further down. Also my sugar levels are right under the diabetes level if I would have had a point one higher level I would be a diabetic. Now this is something I do not want to be so this was a wake up call for me. I know my diabetic friends who have gotten their diabetes under control have done so through exercise and diet. So that is how I plan not to get diabetes. Hard work through diet and exercise is how I plan to adapt and over come. When I got the call from the doctor I just finished eating lunch I was cleaning the dishes. My old reaction would be to get bummed out and start eating comfort food however I adapted and over came the situation this time I got on the scale found out I lost 3 pounds since Sunday. I was so excited about this I posted the picture of my scale in the game postings. 

 

I am now more motivated to get healthy and eat healthy than I have ever been before while I was writing this blog I got a call from the cardiac rehab center wanting to know if I wanted to come to their gym to basically do cardio workouts while being monitored. I will be doing nutrition classes and learning about living heart healthy. This is great what a difference a day makes. Praise the Lord.
