I was in the same place last week for very similiar reasons. Burnout and TOM was a double whammy. After a one week break from low carb diet and exercise the scale showed a 5lb increase. I also felt like I had undone a whole month's work on this journey. I went back to drinking lots of water and walking and I lost that weight in 2 days. I'm still working on cleaning up the diet again- I made Irish Soda bread for the family dinner and found myself making toast this morning.Fluctuations are normal and you know what to do to get back on track. Your birthday celebration was totally worth it. Happy Birthday! Now you return to your new normal and your body will remember it likes the water, healthy food, and exercise. Welcome back!
