Adrienne, I LOVE your blogs!!! I've been stuck in the 160s and am trying to get into the 150s and ULTIMATELY to 134 lbs (my goal weight), but I haven't been very successful lately. I walk four miles in the mall about four days/week and do strength/cardio to Shaun T's Rockin' Body-Rock It Out DVDs; however, my nutrition needs a boost. You are SO inspiring...I look forward to hearing about you reaching your goal weight of 145 lbs in the near future!!! Keep up the good work!

Thanks sooo much Erica!!! I really appreciate your kind words!!! :-) Girl, have you taken your measurements??? If you're strength training, you're probably losing inches, but the scale isn't moving. You have to shake things up a bit. With strength training, if you lift heavier weights, you have to increase your protein. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water too!!! Also, think about switching things up a bit. Change your workout routine, & rotate your calories a bit. I personally prefer to lose fat/inches as opposed to the pounds on the scale. Right now, I'd say that I'm "skinny fat", but I WANT DEFINITION!!! LOL!!! I'm working on getting rid of my kangaroo pouch, & I need to tighten my arms & thighs too. It's a job, but I'm gonna make that happen!!! I'm working on GETTING MY SEXY BACK!!! :-) Good luck mamacita!!! I hope you see a difference on the scale very soon!!! :-)

I have been keeping track of my inches and have noticed a vast improvement, thanks to my strength/cardio workouts! I'm just so anxious about the reading on the scale...I call it the "friendly scale" when it reflects a positive reading. You can check out my blog if you'd like. Just keep doing what you're doing because it's DEFINITELY working, my friend!!!
