So today: I decided to try and give it my all (well I didn't do as great as yesterday, but I made it through 4 pm before I went to the beach with the kids and parents).

Anyway, I feel quite proud of myself for trying to workout every hour.

7:00: did 10 min of combined cardio, crunches, squats and wall push ups.

8:00: did 100 slow bicycle crunches

9:00: T25 alpha cardio

10:00: 100 slow bicycle crunches, 10 min of stepping up on a high stool (7 min while holding my 18 lb 5 month old...that boy is heavy)

11:00: skipped

12:00 decided ot make up for my skip and did Insanity pure cardio the whole video

1:00: jumped rope 1000 times and 100 slow crunches

2:00: insanity warm up + stretching

3:00: 12 min of high stool step ups and 100 fast bicycle crunches (abs were giving out on me)

4:00 10 min of various: jumping jacks, jogging in place, wall squats

8:00: PiYo lower body

Now my review of PiYo so far.  Yeah, I feel like I got a minor sweat and some good stretching, however, I predict it will get much better once I do the same video 5+ times and know whats happening.  Since your supposed to not be looking at the tv its hard to know if your doing the moves right.  So, rather than treating PiYo currenlty as any 'workout' I'm going to make sure my form is right and treat it like a stretching and minor muscle work dvd.  Once I get the moves down I see how it could be highly beneficial :)  But again I love Pilates.

So, I can hope for a scale victory tomorrow: currenlty my bodymedia armband is saying I did 1:07 min of moderate activity today, 1:25 min of vigorous activity, burned 3235 calories today for a calorie deficit of 1900 calories so far :P  I'm pleased.  Lord help me get through one more day tomorrow of this crazy training I decided to do this week.  It will slide me into an off day on Saturday and regular workout Sunday for my reward day :P

On a side funny note for parents out there.  My 4 year old has decided while at the grandparents that he would like to sleep in a makeshift tent in my room.  I said fine.  Yesterday evening while trying to walk in the room, I forgot about the thick glass lighthouse nightlight that I had placed on the floor for him.  Wouldn't you know I kicked the darn thing so hard I thought my toe fell off.  Me...without screaming held the wall as to not wake up the 5 month old in the pack n play in the same room and went to the bathroom to investigate.  My pinky toe nail looked purple a little.  As I touched it the darn thing moved...it moved...it lifted.  :O  Holy crap, I doubt I'll have a pinky toe nail in a week which has never happend to me before.

Why am I saying this story...because I know most of you who read my blog are not only women but also moms.  I say we are damn strong :P  Because most of our husbands/sig others I'm sure would have screamed/cursed: confused and excited the 4 year old who was happy in his tent and woken up the 5 month old sleeping infant.  Who says women don't rock for our pain tolerance.

:)
