So I realized today is kind of an important day for me. In the past 3 years I always do a 10 day clean eating cleanse every 90 days. I work really hard to prep the meals for my family and me and I am spot on with my eating and water in take. However. By day 11 I always binge and then the same thing for about the next week. I have lost up to 6 lbs in 10 days doing it that way but I always gain it all back by the next week because I can't maintain eating that clean. I don't know if it's the country girl in me that just has to eat home baked goods, or the fact that I just don't have a lot of willpower, not sure. But I did read a post that Sean said that we all have to do what works best for us to reach our goals. My goal by joining dietbet was to actually lose weight that I could maintain. I'm trying to get away from being so obsessive about it for a few weeks and then completely losing my movitivation for 2 months. I am not restricting my calorie intake like I have in the past to a super low number, because I know I do tend to work pretty hard on the farm and with having 2 little kids. My goal this week is to just keep trudging along and adding in veggies to each meal and have fruits more and maybe a few less baked goods. It's been working for me to eat every 3 hours and then I can't snack in between that. I guess that is working well. I also am appreciating only weighing in once a week instead of everyday. Anyways, thought I should update where I'm at. Feeling good, feeling like my body is getting worked. Until next time! Chels
