What a wonderful post! I think your thoughts on toxcitiy are dead on the money. Our way of thinking does impact our bodies. One thing I have found is I have to forgive myself. Forgiving and not dwelling on one failure enables me to move on and be better. Whether it is eating something bad or missing a workout, if I forgive myself - I am still happy with all of the other progress I have made and I continue on with the good choices. If I beat myself up I spiral out of control and everything goes out the door, diet and exercise. Yo-yoing is something I have been pretty good at. I am hoping the Sept Maintainer Bet helps me level out that yo-yo. Clean eating has been key to my weight loss tis time around. I have been in many of Marcie's dietbets. I never thought I would be a "clean" eater. It would be way too hard...and so many other excuses. The challenges Marcie gave us in her Kickstarter DietBets made me realize I can eat clean. My body and mind both love it when I eat clean. My body was angry too, but now we are happy campers.
