so far i haven't met any of the monthly wheigh ins =? but i'm not discouraged! i'm not going to stop everything and think "what's the point i'm too far behind i'll just quit"

this is what i always did in the past, but the past obviously didn't work... so a new approach is needed. to add in a cliché (like Shay likes to do =) ) : winners aren't quiters (but there are a whole bunch more that could apply)

so this is what i do:

i just sit down or before i fall asleep or just after i wake up and still in bed, find yourself a quiet 10-15min; and just think for a second:

-think about why you started this
-think about what goal you set for yourself
-think about what reward you thought up for the end
-think about how you struggled
-what made you choose the unhealthy
-what are some of the major obstacles that are keeping you from succeeding as you would like (food, workout, mind, emotions, relationships...)
-what are the obstacles you could easily overcome or maybe already have
-think about how you feel after a workout
-how your body feels after a few days of good foods
-what effect good amounts of everyday water have
-what you were able to accomplish in this DB already (or what you already proved in the past)
-what PR you reached....

and then i just follow my mind and a clearer picture appears, with solutions, ideas, opportunities...

" i know what i want and what i have to do - so this is what i'll do first "

this helps me plan the next baby-steps that will help ME get back on MY track to MY goals and successes and that will keep ME HAPPY =)

maybe writting the answers down in a journal might help some even better

let me know if you tried this, or already do this =) i would love to hear about it
