Non-scale victory of the week!

Deleted the Taco Bell app! I haven't used it at all since being given the keto go-ahead by my doctors, but during a very frustrating and emotional week I came scary close: literally in the parking lot, adding things to my cart via the app. I told myself I deserved it because I hadn't caved the night before. NO! That's not how it works. Instead I went to the store for chicken deli meat, tomatoes, and precooked bacon to make an epic chicken and avocado BLT wrap. Even with that I still didn't hit my calorie goals for the day, but at least I didn't throw myself out of ketosis.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Hit my calories. I'm having a really hard time forcing myself to eat the last couple weeks. The only things that sound remotely appetizing are super carb heavy. I did find out that Quest makes fake potato chips I can buy locally, so hopefully they taste ok and the crunch will help me start eating again.

Eat enough and get back to exercise now that my shoulder is feeling somewhat better.

Non-scale victory of the week!

Hit 50 pounds down! I'm up a bit today, because Monday I had my first and only cheat foods in the last two months +. I was worried about getting back into it on Tuesday, but I've had zero cravings and no interest in eating anything that's not keto friendly. I definitely think letting myself attack those cravings was the right choice!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I've missed my nightly meds twice ??

Non-scale victory of the week!

Stayed away from the sour straws my coworkers were all eating. Also, when McDonald's messed up my order and gave me no egg instead of no muffin, I went inside to get it remade and didn't snack on the warm toasty muffins like I wanted to.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Honestly, I'm really happy with how I did this week. I want to be exercising more, but I couldn't due to my stupid shoulder. I'm feeling a lot better today, though, so I'm going to go exercise before job #2

Survive next weekend! It will be extremely emotional and difficult, and I know I'm going to want to binge on carb-heavy comfort food.

Non-scale victory of the week!

My fleece leggings I bought in October 2017 have never fit properly and were constantly sliding off because they were too small, but they were the biggest size available. I put them on last night and they fit the right way!!

Track my water better!! I've noticed that I'm drinking way less than I was before I started keto and am wondering if that's why my weight is bouncing up and down the same 1.5-2 pounds every day (currently weighing daily to track long term patterns)
