I really can’t believe this bet is almost over. January has been good to me. Towards the end of 2023 I decided I would do monthly “resolutions” do something different every month. Instead of the overwhelming feeling of doing it the whole year. For January I decided to do..
•No Social Media (aside from DB)
•No Pop! (I was drinking 3-4 cokes per day. No water.)
•No Eating out (we ate out more often than we should)
•No spending (aside from groceries and necessities)
Since I was making some pretty significant changes (for me) I thought, why not try a DB?! What’s the worst that could happen? I lose $35 and a couple pounds. I’ve spend $35 on a lot sillier things. Not only am I coming out of January having stuck to all my monthly “resolutions” but I’m coming out of January down 13lbs(down 8% from my weigh in), feeling refreshed, overall better, strong in the sense of my will power(as I only focused on diet for this DB. Not exercise) and motivated to see what else I can push myself to do. And I’ll be honest.. giving up all of those things were far easier than I would have ever imagined. So remember YOU CAN do hard things, and those hard things might not be as hard as you thought, or they will and that’s OKAY! I’m not sure what February has in store but I’m excited to push myself to do things I *think* will be hard.
I’ve said this once but I think it’s important to reiterate… To anyone who is silently struggling.. I see you, I feel you, I’ve been you. YOU ARE worthy, YOU ARE loved, YOU got this and I believe in YOU!! ❤ Keeping fighting the good fight 💪
