  • Welcome everyone, so happy to have you all here with us!

    I like to do weekly challenges as part of our game, it helps to keep the game more interesting and motivating. (Optional of course)

    The First Challenge is a mini one: The Water Challenge!

    Here is the requirement if you want to participate:
    Drink at least 64 oz. of water a day, Thursday and Friday. Of course, you should keep it up after that, but we are highlighting hydration this week!

    *Water is such a vital and important part of everyone's health, and an integral part of any diet. Not only does it help cleanse your body of toxins, but it aids in weight loss and reduces water retention. Please feel free to drink more than 64 oz. in a day, especially if you are perspiring much at all. Ideally, you should be drinking half your body weight in ounces of water each day, but that much isn't required for this challenge.

    I will ask at the end of this week, starting on Friday, if you completed the challenge. You will need to report in on that post if you did complete the challenge to be entered into our first drawing. You will have until 12:00 PM PST on Saturday to report in. I will then put all the players who completed this week's challenge into our drawing for a $10 Amazon gift card that same day!

    And one suggestion, but not part of the challenge: Please introduce yourself and share your goals! I think it helps the group get to know each other and creates a way for each player to establish some accountability. Accountability with weight loss is essential! Let us know where you are on your weight loss/fitness journey, and what your short/long term goals are! Just for fun let us know where you are from. I live in Southern Utah.

Hi from Florida! I don't drink water, so this mini challenge will be HARD!! I'm Amber, 11 kids, most of which did in fact come out of this lumpy body lol... 50 pounds to lose and this sounds more fun than anything else I've come up with and I have a motto for life that goes something like IF IT AIN'T FUN, IT AIN'T WORTH DOING. :sunglasses:

Just 1 pound shy of the goal! I may have lost the bet...but I’m also losing weight and welcoming healthier lifestyle. I could have lost money to buying pizza, cheesesteaks, and everyday things I don’t need. I am so close to no longer being pre-diabetic. Paying to be healthy is a win win. CONGRATULATIONS teammates who won! See y’all soon, cause I will keep going!

I’ve been through hell this week! My father passed away Thursday, attended my 50 year old cousin’s funeral, a hurricane hit us in Louisiana ,lost power for 3 days, I begin to stress eat, couldn’t exercise, I almost gave up,but with much prayer & my sweet hubby,I made it thru to finish line!!😢

So I have come to accept that I am probably not going to lose the last 2.5lbs before this ends, which is really sad because I've worked so hard in the gym, made sure to hit 12,000 steps a day been so strict with my calories (1600) and made sure my macros are correct 95% of the time. As much as I'm disappointed, I'm not going to give up ☺ I know these things take time so to everyone who wins, well done 💖❤💖

I agree with Sam & Mama, dig into a bag of what uplifts you. Write them down as well so you can go back to it when you need. We all go through ups and downs (remember you’re not alone) it’s how we handle it that matters:heart:
