I'm super frustrated. I am doing so well. I'm not cheating on my diet. I'm drinking water. I even hit my goal, actually surpassed it. However, today I weighed in and I no longer have hit my goal. I'm up over two and a half pounds. I am not sure what is going on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'd like to start 'running', or at least learn how to increase my lung power to not get painfully out of breath after just a few minutes walking. Have had multiple people say couch to 5k, but is there anything for before that? Like, super beginner beginner? I've been on crutches for a few years, stopped using them in November, but can't seem to get my fitness levels any higher

  • This is a really fun couch to 5K app! You can use your own music in conjunction with it and the storyline breaks through. I hate running and actually enjoy it with this. There’s a Reddit for it and everything, also, once you graduate from this app, ZRX is the next one.

I walked as quickly as I could to start. Then I started running one minute per mile then half mile & now running one minute per 3 min but I started with building up my walking

Tonight I went to dance salsa, it was fun and a good cardio training. On the other hand, I realized my dress was too tight.. I am just still too big :(. It is the right time to finally lose some weight. And if I manage, I am getting myself a pair of beautiful shoes 💃👠👠

Those are great stats. Back when I was actively walking 5K several times a week it took me an hour. Mile two I kicked it up a little and could usually clock a low 18 minutes but 20 was my average. I can’t even walk a mile at all anymore. You are doing awesome!

I would like to ask for any advice to get the scale moving.. I'm tracking calories and lots of walking for exercise. It just seems like I lose and gain the same 5 pounds over and over. I'll add that I have alot of weight to lose.

I drink at least 64oz's a day, and I only eat between a certain time a day so that I am done eating before 6pm. I'm one who can't stay off the scale, so I weigh myself the same time everyday. I have a bad knee so exercising the way I want is a bit of a struggle, so I take a natural fiber supplement to keep things moving if you know what I mean. With me, I'm more successful if I am consistent with weighing my food and Journaling my macros. Higher protein, lower good fats and carbs is what I am doing. And if you slip a day, shake it off and start over the next day. Don't try to under accommodate what you went over the day before. :heart:

I usually don't do a cheat day. I used to but it seemed to throw me off balance.

So I don't really do cheat days. I keep a 1200 to 1700 range, all of which puts me in a calorie deficit. Most days I keep at the 1200 mark, but if there is a day when I need an extra treat I keep in my 1700 range, but I also don't worry if I'm a little over because in the course. This has really helped my mindset so I don't get off track with a cheat day, I used to turn one into multiple and have a hard time getting back on track.
