I've been away too long, so now I'm back here and at an all time high! Gonna be more consistent and stay until I reach my goal this time. Then every time I stray from it I need to come right back so I don't fall all the way off the wagon lol!

Non-scale victory of the week!

My skin is starting to clear up. I have minor acne which is really annoying and embarrassing as an adult, so I'm glad it is going away (hopefully?). I also finally set up my monitor and keyboard on my FitDesk bike so I can stay active even when I just feel like sitting around at my computer.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have been more consistent with my diet so I didn't have to rely on cardio so much. I know improving my diet will help more in the long run, but it is the hardest part.

Exercise even more on this FitDesk, prepare more healthy shakes in the morning, get more fibre and protein in my diet, and stop it with the dang chocolates!

Non-scale victory of the week!

I went to the gym after work 3 days this week even though I was really stressed out and exhausted the day.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

There was one day I just went straight to bed without exercising because I worked a bunch of overtime and was really tired. Wish I didn't do that. Also I didn't try as hard on my diet this week...

This week I'm going to focus on my diet since I gained too much weight this week and I'm back over my Round 1 goal (Eek!). I found a great new drink I can have at parties and still stay within my calorie budget! Also going to be doing more cardio rather than strength training. for the last stretch of the round. I'll try to remember this for round 2. I'm also going to continue to pretend any weight gain is just pure muscle to help me stay positive :)

Non-scale victory of the week!

I managed to not eat too much at my sister-in-law's birthday/engagement announcement party and managed to exercise 7 days this week even though I only made it to the gym once.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

i could have done a better job remembering my gym bag. If I did, I could have gone to the gym 3 times.

I'm going to check out these new tunes I got for Christmas. I love Aphex Twin and Kraftwerk, but haven't listened to nearly enough of their discographies. I'm also going to remember to bring my GOSH DARN GYM BAG!

Non-scale victory of the week!

I was fairly consistent with my sleep schedule. I was home sick the whole time, so it was easier for me, but I think I can keep this going. Back to work tomorrow! Also I managed to drag myself out of bed to keep up with my StepBet games. That one is probably a bigger win.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

The cookies and chocolates got me again! I also ordered a bunch of very salty and carb-a-licious chinese dishes one day. I managed to not fill my plate with a second helping though and avoided enough cookies to get to my goal. The idea of strength training went out the window this week... I probably should have made more breakfast smoothies.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

Now that I'm better, go back to the gym! I even bought new workout wear with my StepBet winnings. I was so happy when I realized the shirt has thumb holes in the sleeves! I'm going to make healthy lunches for work to go along with my healthy breakfast smoothies. I bought a few different kinds of pasta made with healthier ingredients (very high-protein, high-fibre, and low-calorie), so hopefully they don't taste too different from normal pasta. If not, maybe I can find some sort of other sauce to make that will go better with their flavours.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I listened to lots of new music while running. I feel like I'm getting back my exercise endurance. I bought more ingredients to make breakfast smoothies. I actually woke up early enough to make a breakfast smoothie to take to work.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

I could have done a better job of avoiding all the leftover chocolates and cookies from the holidays. I could have gone to bed earlier some days.

Stop it with the dang cookies! Record my food more often and more accurately. Do some work on the nutrition calculator so I can plan and record meals more easily. Buy more smoothie ingredients. Do more strength training. Go to bed on time! Look, Murdoc is kneading the blankets making everything all comfy and ready for me. No excuses this time!

Long-term goal weight

125 lbs

What do you find most challenging in reaching your long-term weight loss goals?

I have a hard time staying fit because I have strong cravings for chocolate, I eat when I'm bored, I'm either 100% on track or I'm a complete train wreck, not everyone around me is on board with my diet plan, I'm surrounded by men who naturally need to eat more and I end up subconsciously doing the same, I don't know how or how much I should be working out, I feel like I either am not working hard enough or I've just injured myself from working the wrong thing the wrong way and too hard, etc. Basically the same things everyone struggles with, right?

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

1. Work on my diet calculator (it's intense, it will probably be a few years before it is finished) 2. At least do some basic cardio and keep track with my Fitbit. 3. Track my diet with MyFitnessPal 4. Get back to the gym. 5. Make a gym workout plan AND an at home workout plan. 6. Get back into Pokemon Go and Ingress. 7. Start building a workout playlist (and ask for recommendations!) 8. Clean up the house so I have more space to work out. 9. Get a blender and stuff to put in it, because shakes are tasty, filling, and easy. 10. Sleeeeeeeep!
