    For our first weekly challenge I want to make it a two parter! For the first part, I want each of us to write down ONE GOAL that we intend to keep throughout the next 4 weeks.     Part 2 is our weekly workout challenge! One of my absolute favorites to start out a DietBet with. Complete 4-5 workouts this week for at least 30-45 minutes for a chance to win a $5 Amazon Giftcard. The workout can be anything that gets your heart rate going! I plan to cycle and strength train. You can post a sweaty selfie, post a screenshot of your fitness tracker, or comment a simple “I did ____ today”. Starting it slow this first week. I've only been able to fit in 15-20 minutes of exercise when I get home from work and boy oh boy I can tell I need it! I'm sore. My body is still getting accustomed to exercise after all day on my feet. Looking forward to increasing time next week.

I’m definitely doing carbs. I adjusted my macros so I can consume up to 210g of carbs a day! This looks yummy!

I feel so weak if i dont get enough carbs. Carbs give a great energy boost which leads to a more efficient workout. Its all about balance :grinning:

Everyone in weight loss and diet keeps talking about falling off the wagon. What if we changed our mindset? What if there isn't a wagon? Maybe it's a hike, and parts of the hike are steeper so you progress slower or maybe even pause for a bit to recoup the strength to continue. But you're still climbing up that summit. You're still on the trail, even on a pause or slow steep part. 💖 Happy Tuesday. I don't usually share motivational stuff just had an inspiration today 😅

  • Yesterdays workout: very light bike ride. It's been hot (for the PNW) and my body doesn't handle it well so my goal yesterday was to move my body without sweating out all my electrolytes. Success 😂 it's supposed to be cooler now so hopefully I can do my normal routine without getting more heat sickness

I did a gentle movement yesterday too. As an all-or-nkthing personality j find it helpful to remind myself as well that light or gentle movement often definitely counts. It didn't sell have to be max effort
