Non-scale victory of the week!

I just feel stronger! i have been having shin splints problems so I haven’t been running as much, so I’ve been signing up for a bunch of the WayBetter Challenges. I really dislike home workouts so the accountability is necessary, and I do feel stronger the more I’ve done.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I did a double take of myself in the mirror yesterday. i had this top that had always fit loosely, and decided to tie it up in the back so that it wasnt so flowy. When i walked into the bathroom, i couldn't believe it...I looked SKINNY. There are very few occasions in my life i ever thought I looked skinny. That was amazing! This week i also for back into making dinners and after a few months stalling, i finally broke past the 170 mark.

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

nope. focusing on the positives here.

Everything else lol. This month has been difficult and emotional, I've started stress eating again and pounds flew back on. Joined a new transformer to kick myself back in gear.

Non-scale victory of the week!

I had a girls weekend out of town, and I was really worried going into it about what my eating would be since I couldn't make my own meals there. But I'm proud of myself, and I'm proud of my body. I tried to pick healthier options from what was available, and the times that I went for more of an Indulgence, my body knew it had had enough. I didn't over-indulge. By the time I got home, I was craving produce. I did gain a little bit of weight back, but I will consider that a win!

What do you feel you could have done better this week?

Without going out of my way to grocery shop and make meals instead of going out to eat with the girls, I think I actually did well. I even made a full, healthy dinner after work, before my 5 hour drive there, just so that I wouldn't stop for fast food...so I'm not going to say specific things I could have done better. Yes there are things, but I don't regret the choices I made.

What are your goals for the upcoming week?

I need to get back to meal prepping, being gone for the weekend meant I didn't really plan out or prep anything for this week so I'm flying by the seat of my pants.
