Thanks!! I'm not a big drinker so I'm not to worried about the alcohol. Food is my issue!! Ugh....why does it have to be so good!!!......lol

If you want to keep on track, drink at least 3 liters of water the day before you go to the party and they day you go to the party. Also, before you go to the party, eat a normal meal. I know it sounds weird to eat before you go, but you will be less likely to over do it on crap foods. You will go over your calories likely, but not as much as if you were to starve yourself before hand. The next day, get back on track with your water, workouts, and normal meals and don't hate yourself over what is past! I tried this last weekend at a party, and even though I went over on my calories that day by 800 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). I still ate/boozed less than I would have, and am still down 1.8 pounds this week.

What great goals! I am loving diet bet so far. The thought of losing my money AND not fitting into my bridesmaids dress are really keeping me going! If I win this diet bet, I plan to do another diet bet right away...which will take me through thanksgiving. But if I win both...then I will be 182...which I haven't been in SEVEN YEARS!!!

HI Taxco50. I joined about a year ago and only did one challenge and then gained some weight. So the 159 weight was like a year ago. Now I'm trying take off the weight that put back on plus take some more off. No worries tho. The dietbets I'm in now has my starting weight at 172.8 :-)

lol. I'm a smoker myself, and I find that I can quit my food addiction, but I just can't escape my nicotine addiction. Sometimes, I wish I never started smoking. It really is such a terrible habit. When I did manage to quit smoking for long extended period, I noticed that sucking on lollipops helped me. However, it's not very health conscious either. So, i like your tea solution better! I've learned to throw myself into working out to distract myself from no smoking and to relieve the stress of not smoking. the first week is always the hardest. So far I've last 3 weeks!!!!
