  • I’ve got my next set of WayBetter games set for this month. Getting excited to see the pounds come off!!! I’ve been doing the core circuit back to back since around Feb and have seen and felt the difference! It’s slow, but it’s happening!

How do you they know if you did the workout? Is it honor code or do you have to film yourself or take pictures?

Katie- it depends on the game. Some have you do a time lapse video, but for most you just submit a selfie after you’re done. It’s mostly honor code though. It would be easy to just submit any old selfie, but then we would just be cheating ourselves. I think most people that join are actually trying to get better. :blush:

Unfortunately I won’t be making this round the last 2 rounds were waisted I let my self go kinda went into a depression I’m back I’m definitely going to kick some ass these next rounds no more Excuses for me I’m not going to let my self down I just gotta remember I’m doing this for me a better healthy me not anyone else

Just wanted to share my frustration. For the past 3 weeks I have been very disciplined- tracking food, exercising 4x per week, drinking lots of water, cutting alcohol - and my weight has stayed the EXACT same. So. Frustrated. The only things I’m losing at this point are money and motivation 😩 not saying I’m giving up but probably taking the weekend off to recharge.

So I didn’t make it this round... I kind of new I wouldn’t. Had a cheat day last Friday, then figured I already messed up so I’d just have a true cheat day on Saturday- then when I entered everything into my fitness pal on Saturday night- turns out my Friday cheat wasn’t that bad! :( but that’s ok... it’s overall progress cause I did lose 1-2 pounds but more importantly, I was able to make my cheat day last only 1-2 days last week... normally they last about 5 days after a round... so that’s actually a huge victory for me. So I’m gonna buckle down and do my best to make the next goal.

I’m the exact same!! I can really derail my progress easily by cheating. Just keep going and you will do great! The later rounds are easier and you can catch up!

Little victory today. Long day at work- had to skip lunch. Got home around 9 pm and still made a healthy dinner (victory #1). But i did give in and had 2 Cadbury cream eggs after- and here’s victory #2... normally, I’d lie on MyFitnessPal and just not include them (haha which is ridiculous cause obviously the weight will be there no matter what). But I included it in, and realized I’m still within my carbs for today. Normally I would’ve omitted the candy, but then felt like the whole week is lost and just overeat in compensation- but now I see that one snack doesn’t have to lead to a downward spiral! That’s awesome!

Yikes. I haven’t been eating so well since the end of the last round. I need to find that motivation again to not give in to eating whatever! What do you guys tell yourselves to give you that boost??

I’ve had the same problem! Today is the first day of being good all day. I was telling my friend about it and she suggested having a legit non scale victory that isn’t just about looking better to work for too... so my NSV will be able to do 1 pull up in 1 (maybe 2) months, and it actually helped! I actually went to the gym and did 15-20 minutes of strength training (not a lot, but more than I normally do on a Monday).

I entered a triathlon in July this keeps me moving as quite honestly I’m so slow at running and cycling I might miss the cut off time ... and then there the matter of pools not being open yet ! It’s def good to have something other than the scale to focus - race is one week before there final weigh in so I thought they worked well together

I joined this transformer to keep myself accountable because in the past I did just the monthly bets , would lose the weight and then put half of it back on . So far so good , I made the first goal and am only 5 pounds away from my second and I feel great !

Signed up for the same reason too! And eveeeen though I cheated a bit more than I would’ve liked to for the past 3 days (my reward cheat day lasted a bit too long), I’m not gonna stress about it and start new tomorrow. Whereas last time, I’d just let the bad habits keep going for a full week. But, it’s all about changing our lifestyle, so baby steps i guess.

Hi everyone, im very disappointed in myself, not only did I not make it, I'm the exact same weight but what I don't get is I got done 4 pounds and somehow gained that all back in the same month, 2 weeks ago I was only 2 pounds away from my goal, now I did get an ulcer about 2 weeks ago and that threw off my diet for about a week because everything was upsetting my stomach, but the last week I have been back to keto and been working out 45 min 4 days a week for 2 weeks (strength training). What am I doing wrong, what is everyone else doing? I would like to succeed this month, thank you all!

Don't give up, Ashley! I had the same issue last year... when I started strength training, I stopped losing (I'm a keto person, too.)

Assuming a (mostly) absence of diet blunders, I'm pretty sure it's because of the water retention we get when we're tearing and repairing (building muscle). It's inflammation and water retention, but that will eventually level out and you'll start losing again (if you're anything like me and my experience from last year).

Thank you everyone I'll try to stop eating at 6 if possible I work till 5 and come home workout and cook dinner maybe ill cook dinner first! I'm definitely going to up my water intake, and watch my sodium I'm loving all these tips thank you so much!

I think you can still play the final even if you don’t win the month before (which is 10% of body weight). You just have to make sure you lose 6% of body weight (this months goal) by that last month though in order to be allowed to do the final month. That’s my understanding of it.
