Hey ladies, I am curious as to how you manage this game with your period. I met my goal weight but my period just hit and Holy Bloat I'm no longer at my goal. I know that all of the weight will go away when my period is over but it definitely means I won't make goal Monday. I'm just curious if there is some kind of strategy to joining games with your period in mind so that you don't miss goal for something that is completely out of your control.

Hi everyone, thank you for your thoughts. I'm already drinking half of my body weight in ounces, but it sounds like during this time I should drink even more. I'm vegan, so eating my fruits and veggies aren't a problem for me. However it sounds like there are certain veggies I should stay away from right now. Thank you for the tips on getting enough rest and on remembering to move my body. I appreciate all of your help.

  • Had a very unexpected NSV today. Driving in a car we haven't used much lately and felt like the steering wheel was a little far away. Then I realized...THE STEERING WHEEL IN ITS LOWEST SETTING ISN'T RUBBING MY BELLY ANYMORE!

To be fair - some might harm you! Stay away and save your money as the others say. Can’t rely on it & far better to build healthy habits - we are in this for the long haul and need to maintain our healthy weight at the end, rather than the diet being “over” and just snapping back to old ways. This is something I’ve been thinking a lot about lately, the new normal!

A lot of “weight loss” supplements are either stimulants or laxatives. Way better off just eating healthy and moving your body xo

Hey guys! First timer here. I’ve had so much fun learning so much this month using diet bet. But it seems like the closer we get to turning in our official weight I’m becoming crazy consumed with anxiety about not winning or hitting my goal!
Anyone else?
It feels so silly. But truly, I’ve done great this month. But this week especially the scale is going higher (about 3 pounds) from goal and I’m finding myself doing anxious eating habits instead of letting it motivate me that the game is ending.
Any advice?

Remind yourself that as long as you are forming healthy habits, you are winning! No need to get too worked up about the final weigh in. Get enough sleep, drinks lots of water and eat your veggies xo

Same. Let's let go of hitting that perfect target. Progress over perfection. I have to work hard to not feel like my worthiness is dependent on hitting certain goals / being productive / being "successful " (in DietBet and lots of other parts of my life). We are worthy as we are. If we hit a goal, that's just a bonus!

  • Had a beautiful salad for lunch! I've been cooking a hamburger/veggie soup in the crock pot all day, so it smells delicious up in here and is almost done! Looking so forward to it! I've had 3 great food days in a row, but no weight loss. 😢 It's frustrating...but just knowing that what I'm putting in my body is good for me, makes me happy!

Being healthy is the only important part. Don't let the stall discourage you. Just make sure whatever it is that you're doing actually should be producing weight loss ( in theory ). If so, no worries. If not, make adjustments. Great work either way!

If two meals of ordering out are ‘undisciplined’ then I’m in more trouble than I thought I was. lol. Two meals 5 days out from weigh-in probably won’t sink the ship. You can still do it.
