How have the past few days been for you? I'm doing quite alright, mainly with the exercise, a little less when it comes to the food I eat, but still a big improvement.
I was wondering, do you weigh yourself daily or weekly or even monthly? I'm not sure what would be best for me, as I am curious every day, but would not want the number on the scale to become an obsession.

Hi Wenke, I agree with what Kelsi says really. It can be make it break in terms of motivation. Personally I'd never suggest that anyone weighs themselves daily. There just isn't any point because each day is different thus so are fluctuations. I weigh every two weeks. I find this is useful enough to give me an idea on where I am but not enough to become obsessive. Also, try to plan your weigh days away from ovulation and menstrual times as, clearly, water retention/hormonal imbalance and fluctuations occur. Well done on your exercise and diet by the way :)

Thanks for both of your replies. It is very helpfull to hear your opinions. For now I think I'll keep it on once a week!

Hey everyone! It's the New Year! Now that 2020 is out of the way, what are some of your goals?

To carry on until I reach my goal. I actually did pretty well during 2020 and lost 98lb, so my goal is to lose another 30lb (give or take). Continue OMAD, fasting and keto and working out 5 times a week.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE :sparkling_heart:
Wishing you all good health, safety and happiness.

Get more serious with living a whole food plant based lifestyle. Never a diet, but a lifestyle :relieved:

What’s your guys plan for Christmas Eve and Christmas? Staying super strict or going to enjoy some delicious food and maybe do portion control?

Just wanted to let anyone who may not be off to a great start, know that it’s not over! Don’t be discouraged. It’s the small accomplishments that add up.

Haven’t transitioned into your diet? Drink water with your meals.
Reduce your food intake by drinking water before you eat AND even eat smaller portions of your favorite foods.

Fun fact about me: I LOVE SWEET TEA but I started using honey instead of sugar a year ago and now I wake up to hot tea without any sweeteners (including honey). I feel better and I actually enjoy the taste.
