Hey Jennifer...saw your post about emotional eating. I too have struggled in that department. It always scared me that I couldn't trust myself not to "blow it" big time once stress, anxiety, or guilt hit. I am surprising myself over the last month not using food as a crutch. I listened to a seminar on emotional health...As well as Bruce Pitchers support class on the beyourbestaz.com website. You can also go to you tube Be Your Best Seminars. I was ready for change...and boy did I. I am down 22 pounds in just over a month...about 60 pounds to go. I am emotionally well, which is the most important thing...Our bodies will follow once we heal our mind. I know I won't be perfect with my eating forever...but after listening to all 4 of their seminars, Emotional Health, Support, Body, and Transformation...I am a changed woman. If you are ready for tackling why you eat your emotions....Please check it out. Jen, the woman that gives the seminar, is amazing and spot on! GOOD LUCK:)

I can't really help you with will power seen as it comes and goes with me...lol however I can give you a tip...use a small plate put your protein and fat or carb and use a big plate for your veggies..then serve your food and put away the rest..do not take it to the table ...you will consider seconds or a little bite or to finish off leftovers ect...out of site...helps you take time to feel comfortable and tells you your done:) I almost always eat more if its brought to the table:) your worth being healthy, you don't need willpower (it does not exist) make a promise to yourself to make healthy choices try for 80%...you don't have to be perfect..learn from unhealthy choices...something I am working on myself:) you can do it!

I always do that using a small plate really helps control portions and seconds are never an option unless its a second serving of veggies.
